Julie was fortunate to work at the 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver and Whistler, Julie was working as a categoriser at the Invictus games which means placing athletes within a category, therefore when they compete disabilities are on a level playing field.
This was the first time the games had been a combined summer and winter event. Summer events took place in Vancouver city centre and winter events took place up in Whistler.
It was fantastic to see the Invictus spirit at play during these games, were injured or ill military personnel come together to continue their rehabilitation journey.
